I graduated from Cosmoprof with a Diploma in Professional Make Up Artistry in 2007. In 2016, I have also taken up an Advance Bridal Hairstyling + Make Up course from Christine Chia and a hair styling course from Crystal Er.
In Feb 2017 I took up a Bridal Styling course from Taiwan teacher Lynn Lee and In Oct 2017 I started taking lessons from Cherry Au from Autelier to further improve my skills and to give my future clients better and more professional services.
This 2018, I have also taken a Japanese hairstyling course from Tomoya Tamada to be updated on the latest Japanese Airy Texture hair styling techniques.
I was previously doing sales in the banking line for 7 years. Still freelancing make up as and when I had make up job referrals as long as it didn’t clash with my work as sort of fulfilling my passion and “hobby”. I left my job in the bank at a point and started my business in fashion but it failed. I’m still glad it happened, for fulfilling a dream since young and for the experience.
Because of Christine Chia’s guidance, mentoring and God’s miraculous ways, I stepped into doing make up full time which I’m currently more focused on Bridal and Media.
Since then, I’ve finally understood what Steve Job meant by “And like most matters of the heart, you’ll know it when you found it and like every great relationship, it will get better and better as the years goes on so keep looking, don’t settle.”
It is true. You Will know it when you found it. And it Will get better. The joy and satisfaction doing what you love, even just by learning anything new ( life is a never ending learning process, you can never learn enough ) brings my heart great joy and every time I receive sweet messages from clients telling me how much they appreciate my work, it gives me indescribable joy and makes me fueled up to do even better.
I Thank God for every client I’ve crossed paths and will cross path with and I pray that I can bring joy and beauty satisfaction to each one of you too.
Feel free to browse around my website for more information. I hope you find inspiration and share the joy of my clients as well. 🙂
Work is going to fill up a large part of your life. The only way to feel truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking & don’t settle. And like most matters of the heart, you’ll know it when you found it and like every great relationship, it will get better and better as the years goes on so keep looking, don’t settle. – Steve Jobs
